About the College

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to regulating the practice of physiotherapists in the public interest. As the largest physiotherapy regulatory body in Canada, the College (previously the Board of Directors of Physiotherapy) has been helping to ensure that patients receive safe, effective physiotherapy care since 1955.

Physiotherapists take a comprehensive approach to providing health care — the College takes a similar approach to protecting the public. Current Opportunities

Coordinator, Entry to Practice

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is the provincial regulatory body for physiotherapy. The College is a fast-paced, high-performing organization which strives to be an innovative leader in regulatory practices.

The College is seeking a Coordinator for the Entry to Practice team. This role requires strong project management, writing and literature review/environmental scanning skills to assist the team’s director in managing several projects.

The Coordinator should have advanced relational database skills with the ability to run queries and reports to gather data for internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data contained in the database and for providing detailed reports for the provincial government and the national database submission.

This role is also responsible for:

  • team planning for periods of up to 1 year
  • managing complex issues that are identified by the team’s two Associates, including challenging customer service issues
  • completing financial reconciliations for the team
  • managing applicants to Registration Committee and writing decisions
  • providing administrative support to the Registration Committee, the Director and other working groups as needed
  • ensuring team processes comply with policy and legislation

Strong communication skills, a high level of organization and attention to detail are essential. A minimum of five years of related experience is required.
