The College is also subject to other government legislation such as The Health Care Consent Act, The Personal Health Information Protection Act and Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

Briefing Notes

Periodically, the College provides Briefing Notes to registrants. Briefing Notes give assistance in interpreting legislation and regulation other than the RHPA. They are developed to assist physiotherapists in practice and are included in the Registrants' Guide. New or revised briefing notes are provided as necessary to advise registrants of changes in the way the College understands how current legislation or regulation affects physiotherapy practice.
