The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to regulating the practice of physiotherapists in the public interest. As the largest physiotherapy regulatory body in Canada, the College (previously the Board of Directors of Physiotherapy) has been helping to ensure that patients receive safe, effective physiotherapy care since 1955.Physiotherapists take a comprehensive approach to providing health care — the College takes a similar approach to protecting the public. By ensuring that physiotherapists meet educational standards and are competent and sensitive to the needs of their patients, the College sets the standard for the delivery of safe, effective and ethical services by physiotherapists.

Current Opportunities
Coordinator, Quality Management
The Coordinator, Quality Management is accountable to the Director, Quality Management, for coordinating, informing and supporting the ongoing operation and development of the Quality Management Program for physiotherapists in Ontario.Experience in database management, environmental trend analysis and report writing is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys challenging work in a stimulating, team-based, and fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities and other duties
- Ensures the development, implementation and maintenance of accurate, current and secure data management systems
- Ensures the consistent application of policies, procedures and processes to support the Quality Management Program
- Ensures coordinated and timely support to the Quality Management Committee including developing meeting agendas, preparing meeting packages, drafting reports, recording minutes, and drafting decision letters
- Collects, collates and evaluates information to ensure the continuous improvement of the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of the Quality Management Program
The successful individual will be a motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced and high volume environment. The individual will possess excellent organizational and supervisory skills, good attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills. This individual will have strong interpersonal capability and will be highly professional
Education - Post secondary education in office administration minimum. Bachelor degree or Diploma preferred.
Experience - 5 years related (coordinator) experience with advanced computer skills and experience in database management, queries and report writing.
Other - Familiarity working with an oversight committee or board of directors; an understanding of the professional regulatory environment; knowledge of various software programs including PowerPoint, Word and Excel; flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
