Key Purpose of Controlled Acts

The intent of identifying the list of activities, defined as Controlled Acts within the Regulated Health Professions Act, is to protect the public. The performance of these procedures is restricted to regulated health professionals who are qualified and authorized to perform them. The purpose of this E-Learning Module is to help physiotherapists understand the complex concepts involved in the performance of controlled acts.
