Building a Professional Portfolio
The first component of the Quality Management Framework - Practice Reflection, requires all physiotherapists/physical therapists to maintain a professional portfolio. The purpose of the portfolio is to promote reflective practice and to demonstrate self-assessment and professional accountability. A portfolio is a showcase of professional achievements and a demonstration of an ongoing commitment to competence. The mandatory components of a professional portfolio are:
- Evidence of learning activities: please provide documented evidence that you have completed a learning cycle and are active in your professional development activities, and
- A completed copy of the most recently released Professional Issues Self Assessment (PISA)
The 20 questions are provided in a multiple choice, true or false format. The PISA questionnaire is designed to make learning more convenient and a little more fun.
