Practice Reflection

The first component of the Quality Management Framework - Practice Reflection, requires all physiotherapists/physical therapists to maintain a professional portfolio.

The purpose of the portfolio is to promote reflective practice and to demonstrate self-assessment and professional accountability.

A portfolio is a showcase of professional achievements and a demonstration of an ongoing commitment to competence.

The mandatory components of a professional portfolio are:

  • Evidence of learning activities: please provide documented evidence that you have completed a learning cycle and are active in your professional development activities and
  • A completed copy of the most recently released
    Professional Issues Self Assessment  (PISA)
