About the College

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to regulating the practice of physiotherapists in the public interest. As the largest physiotherapy regulatory body in Canada, the College (previously the Board of Directors of Physiotherapy) has been helping to ensure that patients receive safe, effective physiotherapy care since 1955.

Physiotherapists take a comprehensive approach to providing health care — the College takes a similar approach to protecting the public. By ensuring that physiotherapists meet educational standards and are competent and sensitive to the needs of their patients, the College sets the standard for the delivery of safe, effective and ethical services by physiotherapists.

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is committed to creating a supportive work environment where collaborative leadership facilitates team work and every employee has the opportunity to meet their potential. We promote from within whenever possible, offer opportunities for continued learning and development, and provide a cooperative, positive environment that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and creative new ideas.

Competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and annual employer-paid RRSP contributions are standard. For fun, group outings, celebrations and other activities keep our social calendars full.

If you are looking for a progressive career within a dynamic, growing organization we’d like to hear from you.
