College Website Takes Home the Silver at the E-Leadership HealthCare Awards

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario's website was awarded silver at  the E-Leadership HealthCare Awards which was held at the Thirteenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference, November 2-4, 2009 in Las Vegas. The College won in the Healthcare Association/Professional Society category for: Best Site Design; is the Web design unusual, attractive, and engaging?  Does the design facilitate access to key site information; provide strong branding and excellent usability? No other organization placed in this category.
 
Over 1,100 entries were received from a wide range of healthcare organizations throughout North America who had the opportunity to enter under one of 17 classifications so that they could compete against others of comparable type, size, and resources. There were 12 different Award categories.

This leading awards program exclusively recognizes the very best Web sites of healthcare organizations (both large and small), online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms, suppliers, and business improvement initiatives. These awards highlight the Internet's role in achieving an organization's business objectives and recognize the hard work that has gone into creating outstanding health Web sites.

The overall design of the look and feel of the site was created by graphic design firm Gravity Inc. of Toronto.
