2020 Council Elections: Nominations Now Open


2020 College Council Elections

Nominations in the 2020 College Council Elections are now open for the following electoral districts:

  • District 4—Eastern
  • District 5—Northern
  • District 8—Central

The College’s Council and Committees are made up of eight elected physiotherapists (PTs) from regions across the province, two academic representatives selected by their peers and seven members of the public appointed by the Government of Ontario. Physiotherapists on Council are nominated and elected by their peers and serve a three-year term.

All registered physiotherapists eligible to vote in the districts open for election will receive a secure email from a third party vendor that allows them to vote one time in their electoral district.

All voting will be conducted online.

Please note these important dates:

  • February 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm: Nominations close and the candidate statement portal closes
  • March 12, 2020: Voting opens
  • April 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm: Election Day (polls close)
