Minister of Health's PPE Order

Ontario’s Minister of Health recently ordered several health organizations to report their daily supply of personal protective equipment (PPE).

This order may apply to places where physiotherapists work, and we encourage anyone working in these settings to bring this order to the attention of their employer.

The order notes that non-acute organizations must complete a spreadsheet. Since the order was released, the Ministry has provided an update, instead asking non-acute sectors to complete a survey each day and submit it by 5 p.m.

If you feel that this order applies to your employment setting and your employer has not received a survey, email the Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Centre at Eocoperations.moh@ontario.ca.
