Ontario Health Regulators Launch New Website for Patients

The Federation of Health Regulatory Colleges of Ontario (FHRCO), which represents the 26 regulated health colleges of Ontario, has created a new website for patients at www.ontariohealthregulators.ca. 
 
The Ontario Health Regulators (OHR) website is a one-stop gateway to the websites of all 26 health regulators in Ontario. From the website, patients can find the most trustworthy, relevant, and up-to-date information about the colleges and the health professionals they regulate.

Key features of the OHR website?

• It provides easy-to-access information and resources for patients about regulated health professionals in a single place. 
• Visitors can access the registers of all 26 colleges, and get important information about a health professional’s registration and discipline history.
• The site contains helpful tips for patients to make the most of their care and time with regulated health professionals.
• The information on this site is available in 10 languages.
