Below you will find a comprehensive list of the rules and standards that govern the practice of physiotherapists in Ontario. These include rules set by the College and those established by other bodies. 

Physiotherapists are expected to follow both the written rules and standards and the unwritten rules and standards – this includes generally accepted practices followed by Ontario physiotherapists.

Nominations Close February 20 for the 2019 Council Election

South Western & Central Western Districts: Nominate a Peer or Run

For the 2019 Council Elections, nominations opened January 16, 2019. If you live in a district that is open for election this year (it rotates each year) you will have received an email from the College with a link to the online nominations forms. If you did not receive this email and live in the districts open for election, please contact cfong@collegept.org

Eligibility Criteria to Run for the Council Elections

  • You must live in District 1 or District 2. (Check your electoral district)
  • You cannot have had a decision-making role with OPA, CPA, CAPR or similar organizations in the last 12 months.
  • You cannot have been found guilty of professional misconduct in the last six years.
