What is the Public Register?

The Public Register contains information that is collected and maintained about all physiotherapists and
physiotherapy professional corporations.

Register Description

There are two sections of the Public Register—the first contains information about all physiotherapists in
Ontario. The second section contains information about professional corporations, which are a special type of corporation owned by physiotherapists. 

Searching the Public Register

You can search for a physiotherapist by registration number, last name or first name or a combination of this information. If you are unable to locate the physiotherapist that you are searching for please contact the Registration team at or 416-591-3828 ext. 222 or 1-800-583-5885 ext. 222 for further assistance.

Physiotherapist Register

The Register contains the following information about all physiotherapists registered with the College:

1. Name
2. Registration number
3. Initial registration date
4. Registration expiry date (current or most recent)
5. Description of the current or most recent certificate of registration
6. Registration status
7. Deceased date (if applicable)
8. Other information that has been deemed to be public
9. Current employment information
10. Language fluency
11. Former names
12. Educational history
13. Professional conduct

  • Criminal convictions
  • Bail conditions
  • Criminal charges
  • Cautions
  • Undertakings
  • Specified Continuing Education or Remediation Program (SCERP)
  • Professional misconduct or incompetence findings in other jurisdictions or professions
  • Licences/or registration in other jurisdictions
  • Working with physiotherapist assistants
