Updated COVID-19 Patient Screening Guidance Document

On August 26, 2021 the Ministry of Health released an updated version of the COVID-19 Patient Screening Guidance Document. 

We encourage all physiotherapists to review this updated document.

Key highlights from the document are listed below.

 •  Updates to reflect screening for fully immunized individuals, including a reordering of the screening questions

 •  Updated symptoms list

The document provides basic information only for COVID-19 screening and should be used with applicable health sector or service specific guidance and training documents. 

At a minimum, the questions should be used to screen for COVID-19 and can be adapted based on need/setting.
