Registration Committee Policy for Exempting Provisional Practice Registrants from the PCE - Clinical

On December 7, 2021, the Registration Committee of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario approved a policy that will allow some individuals who currently hold a Provisional Practice Certificate of Registration to apply for an Independent Practice Certificate of Registration.

PT Residents can check the eligibility to apply for the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario under the Registration Committee’s Policy for Exempting Provisional Practice Registrants from the clinical component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (PCE).  

You must meet ALL of the eligibility requirements in order to apply for Independent Practice under the policy.
