The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario currently has new career opportunities available for Ontario Clinical Exam Examiners (Independent contractors).

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario regulates physiotherapists and exists to protect the public. The College’s Entry to Practice program is a key area within the College as it relates to this mandate, ensuring the College only registers physiotherapists who can provide competent and ethical care.

One of the requirements for licensure as a physiotherapist is to pass a clinical exam. The College is establishing an Ontario Clinical Exam (OCE), which uses a structured behaviour-based interview tool. The College is looking for up to six Examiners to support the administration of the OCE.

The expected start date for this position is in April 2022. The Examiners will perform work on an as-needed basis. The College will consider retaining successful candidates as full-time employees in late 2022.
